Keep time with military precision while adding a unique edge to your wardrobe with the Citizen Eco-Drive Men’s Chronograph Canvas Watch. Featuring the clean look and the rugged dependability of a stainless steel case and bezel, this timepiece relies on the unique Citizen Eco-Drive movement system, so you never need to replace its battery. Eco-Drive is an advanced, technical system that uses a thin solar panel under the dial to convert light energy from any source into electrical energy used to run your watch. Also playing a key role in this unique system is a special energy storage cell that greatly increases the efficiency and dependability of using light as a power source. As an added benefit, Eco-Drive power doesn’t utilize the harmful chemicals contained in traditional batteries, so it’s an excellent environmental choice as well.
The watch features a black dial with easy-to-read Arabic numerals in white, a convenient date window at four o’clock, a slim second tracker on the outer dial, and three subdials that provide chronograph functionality along with the ability to track hours on a 24-hour scale. The dial is further offset with luminescent minute and hour hands and a sweeping red seconds hand. Even the cool canvas band on this watch offers ultra-detailed construction. In addition to featuring a sturdy buckle clasp that relies on steel-reinforced eyelets, the band is backed with leather, which provides added durability and results in a pleasant feel against your wrist. This versatile men’s watch is water resistant to 330 feet.
*Charging information: Functions of this watch may not work correctly if the watch is not charged, or charged properly. Please see the full Technical Information.
To set the time *(refer to full-setting instructions here: Manual ):
- Pull the crown out to the time correction position when the second hand has reached the 0 seconds position.
- Turn the crown to set the time. The 24-hour hand moves in conjunction with the hour hand. Pay attention to AM and PM when setting the time.
- Securely return the crown to the normal position in synchronization with a telephone or other time service.
- Pull the crown out to the date correction position.
- Turn the crown to the right to set the date. The crown turns freely and the date does not change if the crown is turned to the left.
- If the date is set while the time on the watch is between the hours of about 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the date may not change on the following day. If this happens, set the date after temporarily moving the hands to a time other than between the above times.

The chronograph function of this watch is able to measure and display elasped time up to 59 minutes, 59 seconds in 1 second units. After 60 minutes have elasped, each of the chronograph hands automatically stop at the 12:00 position.
Chronograph Timing:
- Start timing by pressing button (A). The chronograph is repeatedly started and stopped by pressing button (A).
- Pressing button (B) resets the chronograph to 0 seconds.
*Note: Do not subject the chronograph to strong impacts while chronograph timing is in progress. Subjecting the watch to a strong impact during chronograph timing or when the chronograph has stopped automatically after 60 minutes have elasped can cause the chronograph minute hand to shift out of position. If this happens, press button (B) to reset to the 12:00 position before using the chronograph again.

Citizen Men’s Eco-Drive Chronograph Canvas Watch #AT0200-05E

Watch was nice but I don’t where same watch everday so it kept losing power and I returned after a week.

I ordered the #AT0200-05E and the #BM8180-03E and I was disappointed with them both.
My first complaint was these two watches diminutive size and weight. Also, I did not like that the case of the #AT0200-05E was brushed stainless on the sides but polished and shiny on top. I thought that the red on the second had and some of the lettering was a garish color to put on a watch. They were just not well done in my opinion which is something you want in a watch.
In the past I have bought a Fortis Flieger Automatic which is a really nice watch and the only pain with the Fortis is that you have to take it in to get it cleaned every couple of years or it won’t work correctly. I also have a Luminox 3000 Series dive watch which is also a really well done watch and the only pain with it is the wrist band is rubber and has to be replaced every year or two. The Luminox 3000 is lighter and only a little larger then the Citizen #AT0200-05E, but the Luminox LOOKS like a substantial object and next to it, the #AT0200-05E looks like a toy.
Before you buy a Citizen, I think you should try a search for Luminox, they cost about $100 more but are well worth it.

Received this watch for Christmas, have yet to wear it. The stitching on the band is unraveling. The watch face itself is not easy to read, the stopwatch dial is too small and makes it very challenging to see.

Oddly this watch for all of its dodads lacks a second hand and date readout. I returned it for the lower yet more suited for my needs version.

I was really looking forward to receiving this watch when I added it to my Wish List. I was “lucky” to get it as a birthday gift shortly thereafter. However, as the old saying goes, “Be careful what you wish for lest it come true”.
Despite Citizen’s excellent reputation, and the positive reviews listed on this page, this watch is poorly constructed from cheap materials. Instead of the brand, model, etc information being etched into the back of case, there is a simple sticker stuck to it. A sticker? WTF? The band is poorly stitched, with the stitching opening up leaving loose threads sticking out. And, finally, the crystal has cracked and chipped from normal daily use. (Nothing heavy duty. I work in a cubicle.)
I have had a low-level Seiko for 15 years that has never needed more than a battery. I’ve had this watch for a few months before having to send it in to replace the crystal. And, I will bet you a dollar they will not repair it under warranty, and want to charge close to purchase price for the repair. If this wan’t a gift from my wife, I would simply throw it away, and get another Seiko.
